Character Actor, Cainan Wiebe (13) has been acting since the age of six. He has been in numerous commercials such as Toyota (directed by Peter Chelsom-Shall We Dance), IKEA, Post Cereal, Hampton Inn (directed by Stephen Daldry-Billy Elliot), Goldfish Crackers and the multiple award nominated commercial Got Milk? Birthday among others. Cainan has also done voice-over work and loved doing his first animated TV series Bratz. His film debut was in the short, Imagine Life, where he played the lead, Rocky, a boy who could draw life. Cainan has also appeared in various TV series and feature films. Cainan can be seen in these feature films: Black Christmas, The Sandlot: Heading Home, Whisper, Snow Buddies and Air Buddies. Cainan was reunited with director Bill Dear (The Sandlot: Heading Home) on the just completed George Lopez film (untitled).

Cainan had the privilege of working on both the new TV series and Webseries, Sanctuary with Amanda Tapping (lead actor), Martin Wood (director) and Damian Kindler (producer) in Vancouver. Cainan got to work with green screens and prosthetics and his role required a Russian accent. Cainan played the character Alexei, a Russian boy with a deadly abnormality. He is featured in the 2hr premiere of Sanctuary the TV series and the first four webisodes of the Webseries.

Cainan got to work on the Sci-fi remake of The Wizard of Oz, Tin Man, again working alongside veteran actors like Alan Cumming (Spy Kids), Zooey Deschanel (Bridge to Terabithia) and Raoul Trujillo (Apocalypto). Cainan was very excited to have met the great Richard Dreyfuss (Mr. Holland's Opus) on the set of Tin Man. Mr. Dreyfuss plays the wise Mystic Man. Cainan plays the human-lion character, Kalm, a viewer, known for his ability to read minds. Cainan had to endure 3-5 hours of prosthetics, prosthetic teeth, facial hair, wig, SFX make-up and tailored wardrobe to be transformed into Kalm. The transformation is absolutely amazing!

Cainan filmed the feature film Black Christmas shot on location in Vancouver. This horror/thriller film starred Michelle Trachtenberg of Ice Princess fame. For the film, Cainan had to be covered from head to toe with bright yellow make-up (for a jaundice-appearance) and wear 22mm yellow special effects contacts for his creepy role of Billy. Black Christmas is directed by Glen Morgan and produced by the creators of the Final Destination series.

As well, Cainan filmed the Sci-fi TV Series’ Supernatural and The 4400. He played Duncan Germaine on The 4400, one of the kidnapped fraternal 4400 twins with paranormal abilities. He could move water (known as diffusion) but only with the help of his twin sister. Cainan was in the 2-part episode of Season 3 called Gone. Cainan also enjoyed playing bad boy character Toot, one of the Westend Bunch, in the TV series Masters of Horror directed by Tom Holland (Fright Night).

Cainan spent a whole Summer filming The Sandlot: Heading Home, sequel to the original Sandlot,
with Danny Nucci (Titanic) and Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210). His character, Ryan, got to teach Tommy “Santa” Santorelli (Keanu Pires) about friendship and doing the right thing. Cainan loved working with director Bill Dear (Angels in the Outfield).

Cainan is also talented in musical theatre. He has performed on the big stage at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. He danced, sang and acted his way into everyone's heart in the Musical Theatre Production of Peter Pan. Cainan played the comical and mischievous Tootles, one of the notorious Lost Boys. Cainan has a great desire and appreciation for theatre.

When Cainan is not busy with his acting pursuits, he swims competetively, takes tumbling and trampoline classes as well as power skating. Cainan is a boy at heart and loves the outdoors.

Cainan calls Vancouver home where is lives with his mom and dad and his very talented 14-year-old sister Hailey Morgan www.haileymorganonline.com. Hailey Morgan is also an actor and an accomplished singer/songwriter. Her debut album is due out Fall of 2008.
