Summer Sun!
Hey everyone, how are you doing? I’m doing really great! Hope you have been enjoying the summer, hanging out in the sun and making the most of it. A couple of weeks ago I went to the waterslides in Tsawwassen with my cousins. It was a whole lot of fun! I get outside each day to do a little parkour. I also went canoeing with my best friend and his family. I hadn’t seen him in so long and I had been looking forward to the canoe trip for some time. Now to your great questions…
To sidney-dancer---Yes, I’m in Eclipse. I had a great time doing my own stunts. My scenes aren’t as long as what I shot, but they still looked great! I remember when we were filming, Jackson (Rathbone) would hug me after every take where he had to rip off my head to see if I was ok. To Myfanwy---I'm still trying to skip a grade, but it's a work in progress. Yes, I am going into grade 10. To singer-obsessed---Well to put it simply, I got an agent, went out to auditions and did my best. That’s really all there is to it other than working hard and having the opportunity to show my stuff. To Twilight fan---I'm sorry to here about your friend, but I have never my self been in a situation like that myself. To The sandlot fan---Acting for me isn't really hard. The thing I like most with acting would have to be the variety of characters that you can portray, from a Russian boy with a snake in his chest to a mute baseball player who talks in the end. To noel---My favourite sport would half to be swimming. I guess I have been doing it for so long that I can't seem to stop. There’s just something so exhilarating about racing that draws me to the sport. Ahh! The most fun I had on the set of Eclipse would have to be the filming the fight scene. I got to run and jump off the stunt guys chest (cool eh??). And last but not least what was it like to work with the cast of Eclipse? Well, I met Robert and Jackson. They were great to meet and both so nice. Thanks for all the nice words from you guest book posters. Keep smiling and I hope you have a great week! Enjoy the rest of your Summer guys and love the sun while it's here. C out!! 16 Wishes Canada!
Hey everyone, how are you ?? I’m doing great!! As you probably have guessed I have been very busy. I have had no time to post a video blog so I hope you enjoy this print blog!!!!
16 Wishes premiered last month in the U.S and a lot of people have been telling me what a good job I did and that I sang rather good. Thanks for the compliments guys!! I haven’t seen it and it is driving me mad!!!! But I think I will make it till July 16, that’s when it premieres in Canada on the Family Channel. I’ve got a great 16 Wishes story for yah. I remember this one day we were filming a scene (Debby Ryan and me) and we were standing on a couple of apple boxes that were laid out. Near the end of the scene Debby had to push me out of the shot. The first time we tried it Debby pushed me a little bit too hard and my foot got caught in-between the two apple boxes. I yanked my foot out so hard that when it came loose I was not expecting it and I started to go down like a falling tree. But with my martial arts experience I instead of hitting the floor flat I was able to roll out of it. Debby was right behind me and tripped over me but she caught herself before landing on the ground. I wasn’t so lucky. So there we were me lying on my back laughing and Debby on one knee bend over me laughing as well. So, there we were me lying on my back laughing so hard that I could barely breathe and Debby was bending down on one knee over me laughing too. Once we had gathered ourselves up off the floor, we looked around to see if any one had seen our little spill, but luckily we were safe……My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard. That was one of the most funny moments on 16 Wishes. Debby’s awesome; lots of FUN! And now to your questions… To TAYA---I don't know of any agents near you but go to your local SAG website to get an agency referral. Keep your eyes posted on Eikids. We‘re coming out with some great content in Season 2! To The Man---I’ve never thought about a career in animation but..... maybe I should. To BabyDoll14---My advice is to find a place to get a great head shot and send it out to some agents, that’s the first step. The next is to act your heart out!!8D. To Vi---I am not really that into sports, and I only know of one team the Vancouver Whitecaps and they’re not in the world cup. So, I vote for them!!! To Ambrose---Hmm...... my worst fear....that is a hard one, but I would have to say..... NEEDLES. Aaahhh! To Dawn---Have I ever been scared of doing something I have never done before, but that I had to do on set??? Yes. When I was on Search and Rescue (aka The Guard) I had to hang over the side of a 50 foot cliff. I was terrified on the day so the acting was natural really natural. To Cydney---Yes, I do have plans for the summer. I will be going to two camps, one is a Hybrid Movement camp (parkour, tricking, etc.) and the other is a bible camp. I’m going to be go carting and trying water skiing for the first time. Both of them should be grand!!! To TheSandLotFan---Yes, Cole’s last name is Heppell. To Chassidy---Thank you for the kind words. To Noel---Good luck with your finals! To IceCream---I can’t wait to see 16 Wishes either!!! July 16th, yeah! To Deathgirl---No, I do not think it is weird to talk to yourself! We need a pep talk and such every once in a while. To Maddiboo11---Yes, Kai and I got along quite nicely. You pronounce his name like By--Kai--My. To Alex---I sing as well as act but my priority is acting. To Yari---No, I don't have a girl friend. To Mizz Cainan Wiebe Love Heart---Well, to become an actor you half to get an agent first (by getting a head shot and sending it in to there office) and then they send you to auditions. To Question Gal---What is the perfect date for me??? Hmm....... I don't know, I haven't given it a whole lot of thought. Sorry. To Vi and Chassidy---I'm sorry, but I’ve been really busy. I will try to get one here in the next couple of weeks. To Ash---Was it fun working with the twilight cast?? Yes, it was. I especially liked working with Jackson Rathbone. Every time he had me in the head lock (aka the strangulation hold) when the director said cut Jackson either gave my a hug (guy hug), gave me a pat on the back or asked if I was alright. It was an intense scene for both of us. Great guy! It's a film I won’t soon forget!!! And to satisfy your thirst for knowledge my height is 5' 8 inches tall. And to all the new and old guest book writers thank you for saying such nice things about me. I love all your questions and comments. C out! Enjoy your Summer!! PS. To MiZz---Good luck on your audition. Break a Leg! Cainan in LA!

Video Blog - April 6th
April 6th Video Blog Transcript
Hey everybody! How are you? I’m doing great! My name is Cainan Wiebe and this is the Easter Edition of my video blog. Over the last few weeks I’ve been working on animation; making one really great character that will have all sorts of adventures. And it’s gonna be really funny too! So be sure to check out the EiKids website. Next week I’ll be down in LA for the 31st Annual Young Artist Awards. Last year, I won for Best Performance in a Short Film. This year I’m nominated for three different categories. Best Performance in a TV Movie for ‘Beyond Sherwood Forest’, Best Performance in a TV Series for ‘Supernatural and Best Performance in a Voice Over Role for ‘Dinosaur Train.’ AND NOW TO YOUR QUESTIONS… To Firefly---has anyone ever recognized me from a movie or asked for my autograph? That’d be a big yes. Have I ever had a main part in a movie? Yes, a few times. Do I do any other sports besides swimming? Yes, I do tumbling and it’s very fun. I’ve also taken five years of martial arts and have a black belt! To David---Am I inspired by any drummers? Absolutely! Tons of them! But no names off the top of my head. And here’s a shout out to David’s four year old nephew Calen! I hope I said that right. To Sandlot Fan---I think if I wasn’t an actor, I would be a musician because I love playing guitar! Or drums! Or bass! Or trumpet! What show would I like to guest star on? If they made a remake of ‘Gilligan’s Island’ I’d be Gilligan’s goofy little brother. To Ambrose---When I was in ‘Sanctuary’ did I have fun working alongside the cast? Yes, everyone, all the cast was so friendly and it was just a really good feel. What is the most scariest thing that has ever happened to me? Okay, picture this - I’m walking into my room, it’s nighttime. I go and I start straightening out my bed cuz it’s getting close to bedtime and my closet’s open. So okay, that’s weird, I always have my closet closed so I walk up, I slide the closet closed then all of a sudden, the closet opens! A claw (2 fingers) reaches out and someone says Yeaaa! And I’m screaming, I run out to my parents I’m like “Ahhhh! Someone’s in my closet! Monster! Monster!’ Then my sister, she comes out of my room and she starts laughing. “Hahaha! I gotcha Cainan!” I’m pretty sure I might’ve had a heart attack. Do I like vampires or werewolves? The traditional kind. That would have to be a vampire. To Julie---yes, anyone can follow me on Twitter and add me as a friend on Facebook. To Dawn---Do I sign autographs outside of Canada? You betcha! I’d sign them on the moon! And about world pollution: I emphatically agree with you that pollution is bad. Bad. B.A.D. And to Storm---Welcome to the site and my blog! Cool! You’re home schooled! I’m in grade 9. The last movie I saw was ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ just like you. I play Quinten. What did you say? (in tough guy voice). Thanks for watching this week’s video blog! Go to EiKids everyday starting Sunday. There will be a new video each day from Hollywood. ‘Til we meet again, C out! Video Blog - March 23rd

Thanks! VIDEO BLOG!!
Hey guys, How are you? I'm doing greeeeat! I'm totally psyched about my new Video Blog. We're spending a little extra time with a little cut here and a little splice there. It's going to be simply grandeouso!! I'm sorry it's going to be a day late, but I know it'll be worth it! So get ready for the next best thing since sliced bread…… well you know, the next best thing in a long, long, long time!
So Matey's, hold on tight a little longer. Video blogging awaits your return !! C-blog out!! Beware!
Hey guy’s how are you all doing? I'm fantastic! I auditioned this week for a movie that's set in Africa. Pretty cool! Not too much going on acting wise, but I have been keeping busy with EiKids and school. EiKids is doing great and pretty soon we start filming Season 2. I can't wait! Speaking of EiKids. There's a pretty interesting monologue I do this week. You might want to check it out. Beware---it involves a high pitched noise and a wig! ...hahaha...Now to your questions...
To Ambrose---We're trying to figure out something for the video blog in the way of subtitles or maybe a transcript of the video blog on my website. I'll have something there for you! Photographer? That’s very cool. It would be great to see some of your work. To Fireflies---Dragons in our Midst is a great series! I would want to go to Scotland for a vacation. It would be a great place to check out. And no, I've never been in a movie with Jim Carrey, but that is hopefully subject to change. My best swim stroke, other than free, would have to be fly. I love it! I've been to Provincials for relays. We were beaten by a hair and placed 4th last year. I've never been to Nationals, but maybe some day. It sounds like you're a GREAT swimmer! To TheSandlot fan---Yes, Hailey Morgan Wiebe is my sister. She is a singer, songwriter, screenwriter and actor. She's a good sister most times! I think it's great I get to reunite with the Sandlot gang too! Diary of a Wimpy Kid will be out soon. To Noel---My spring break was amazing! That is a little strange that your friend got a 100/100 and they wouldn't let her into that school for smart kids. How can you be too smart? Congrats, on getting in! To Dawn---Global Warming is important so I'm glad your project is working out great. Just tell your brother that some times songwriters draw a blank. Sometimes Hailey does too, but you have to work through it and eventually every thing will come sliding back to place. If he loves his music he'll pick it up again. To David---No, I've never had to tell a director that I won't do something and I hope that I will never have to. Is it Transformers 2 or Jesus Christ Superstar? To Cheerbabe365---Thanks for the height remark. I used to be a small fry! Hi Cyrena and Olivia! Thanks everybody for reading this week's blog. And next week...oh boy...you will get to see me unplugged. Bye and have a great week! C-dog Out! ![]() And the Oscar Goes to...
Hey everybody. How are you? I’m doing very well my self. No auditions this week . I was watching the Academy Awards last night and I have to say that they were pretty amazing! I was a little disappointed when Morgan (Freeman) didn’t win, but Jeff Bridges earned it. It was a great night for the Hurt Locker especially with the first woman director taking the best director honors. The other day, I went to see “Alice In Wonderland” and I was really impressed. Last week we took a week off from EiKids to watch the end of the Olympics so for those of you waiting for episode 8 it'll be up today. So, on to your questions!
To David---What is my opinion of Tim Burton? I think Tim Burton is really great. I like his directing and his vision of the worlds he creates. I have never worked with Tim (Burton), but if given the chance I would work with him in a heart beat. I will think about putting the feet behind my head, but don’t get your heart set on it. I had wanted James Cameron's “AVATAR” to win, but unfortunately it didn’t. Too bad. I saw “Alice In Wonderland” in 3D and it was really good. I liked the story and the actors were great. Yes, so far I’ve only filmed in Canada, but I would like to film in Downey, it seems intriguing for some reason. To Happysox101---I didn’t know that ‘Shalom’ meant “hi” in Hebrew. That is very cool. Oh, that 5-page essay would not be fun. To your questions about “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” it was really fun and funny on the set. We finished filming in the Fall. To Julie---No, I have never heard of the song Barriers by David Archuleta, but I do know of him. I watched him on American Idol. Yes, I do play the guitar and harmonica. And I would love to learn to play the Saxophone. To Dawn---Glad you're back. Me against Justin Bieber-very interesting. I'm glad you won. I don't know Justin, but he is Canadian. To Ambrose--It was really fun to be in and film Black Christmas, the other actors were great and the director was very encouraging. I was pretty young then and it was my first feature film. I did look a little scary? If you are interested in acting I'd say go for it. It is so cool! I can't put it into words. To Fireflies---My part in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” is pretty fair in size. No, I haven’t read the Raising Dragon's series, but I will. It sounds like my cup of tea. I don't think the Young Artist Awards will be televised, but you never know. They do film on the red carpet. And to Noel---Sorry, I'd love to help, but I am not to sure what a Magnet program is. Fill me in. Thanks everybody for reading. My video blog should be up and running March 22nd . Have a great Spring Break! See you on Actor's Corner!!! Cainan Out!And...A Video Blog It is!
Hey everybody, how are you this week? I’m doing great! Now last week I told you about a video blog that I was thinking about doing and the verdict is in. You guys said you liked the idea so next week will probably be the week I do it depending on how busy I am. So hopefully you will see me on screen. Newsy bit: Diary of a Wimpy Kid is coming to theatres March 19th in the US and in Canada sometime in April. Make sure you go see it! Thanks to everybody for the congrats on the nominations! I can't wait till April. Road trip!! On to your questions.
To Julie---The video blog would be on the site or a link from my site whichever we can get working the best. To Noel---No, I have never seen the movie Aliens in the Attic. That’s cool that you love musicals and plays and were in them because they are so much fun. I was in Peter Pan too (I played the character of Tootles.. Yeah, the fat one). To Cydney---That’s so cool that you went to the games. I watched them on TV and it was still pretty fast--a blur for the skeleton and luge. My favourite song is Re-Educated Through Labour by Rise Against. To David---The famous horse is Mr. Ed. Am I right? I'll be definitely answering people's questions on the video blog. To Metalhead13---No, I’ve never played an Emo kid but I did audition for one once. I gelled my hair Emo, wore eyeliner--it was fun. To Fireflies---No, I have never read the books 39 clues but my sister relishes them. And I must say I’m a Last Air Bender fan and can't wait for it to come out. Yes, I have seen Avatar. It was great! I have met some other teen stars at the Young Artist Awards. I met Annasophia Robb. She was very nice! Yeah, I did watch the hockey game. It was a real nail biter, but I’m glad we won. I also watched the closing ceremonies and really liked them. The Olympics were amazing as per usual. To Twilightfan---That’s good that you weren’t nervous to hand in your assignment… I mean I dislike school very much but you really do need it. To David---Eikids will be available for download and hopefully on DVD. I don’t know when though. Thanks for reading and hopefully I can get the video blog out this week and things can start rolling. Have a great weekend and good night!! Cainan Out!
Nominations!
Hey guys, how are you doing this week? Wow, it's pilot season and I've had 10 auditions over the last week and a half. It's been crazy! There's lots of work to do and pilot season has just started. I've got some exciting news. I have been nominated for 3 Young Artist Awards. I'll be taking a trip to LA for the ceremony. I'm nominated for Beyond Sherwood Forest (a Robin Hood adventure), Supernatural the TV series, and Dinosaur Train (voice-over). I can't wait to visit Hollywood again.
To Twilightfan---I think the quote means that you can chose to be either a good person or a bad person. We have a choice. No, I've never used negative colors to do art , but it sounds fun. Books? I love books. I can read 5 books in a week. To Noel---No, I've haven't seen Hannah Montana the movie. I love table tennis. I've only played it on a cruiseship, but it was so much fun. To David---When you act with a green screen it takes a lot of imagination on the part of the actor. But, when you're really into the scene you don't even notice there's nothing around you, but green screen. I've worked a lot with green screens. It's pretty cool when you see the finished product. I love CGI. No, I haven't checked out those songs yet, but I will when things slow down a bit. To Fireflies---The Last Airbender trailer is great. I can't wait to see it. What Alex Rider book did you finish? My favorite winter Olympic sport is freestyle aerials. They are the best! To Julie---Oh, you're so lucky. I haven't seen The Lightning Thief, but I plan to go see it soon. You're coming to Vancouver? Cool! I think you'll love Vancouver. Come in the Summer---August is the best month. Thanks for reading! Hey, a couple things---I'm now on Twitter. Also, I've been thinking about replacing this written blog with a video blog. Let me know what you think. Cainan Out! |
