You didn’t ask for it but here it is. I’ve been really busy filming EiKids with my sister Hailey. For those of you who don’t know, EiKids is Entertainment Industry Kids. EiKids teaches kids about the entertainment business, brought to you by me and my sister. My sister is singer/songwriter Hailey Morgan. And me Cainan Wiebe. A couple days ago I had an audition which was really fun. I sent it in to LA and I hope I get some good feedback on that. Also in a couple weeks I’m gonna be going down to the Young Artist Awards. The Young Artist Awards are kind of like the Academy Awards for kids. Down to Hollywood! There’s a red carpet, people interviewing you and it’s gonna be really fun! You know what? Even if I don’t win it’s gonna be alright because afterwards I’m going to turn it into a vacation going to San Francisco to the new park they’re called “Six Flags”. Now let’s get on to your questions, and our first question is from Cydney! Do I like musicals? Yes, I love musicals! Musicals are just so awesome because it really takes an amazing actor to be able to sing and act. I’d have to say my favourite musical is West Side Story. I just love all the actors in there and it’s just a really good musical! My next question is from David. What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to me? I could think of a couple things but let’s just stick to one. Three years ago I was at the Young Artist Awards, at kind of like a pre-party for all the nominees. You go up on a stage, and they hand out certificates. So everyone was mingling around in this big hall and there was drinks & food and then a man got up on the stage and said “Okay everybody, it‘s time to, you know, sit down and we‘re gonna hand out the certificates” so everyone gradually made their way to their seats and from there they started calling up people to get their certificates. When my name was called I was so excited and I walked up - probably ran! They took pictures when I was shaking his hand and then they said “Okay, please step back. We’ve gotta give the next person his chance in the spotlight”. So I stepped back, but I didn’t stop and I kinda fell right off the stage! While I was going down I tried to grab at anything I could in my way - pulled down the whole stage and the big setup with the big “Young Artist Awards 29th Annual”. The best part is that they were recording it! Ahhh!!!!! And to Dawn about your brother not singing anymore - I’m glad he’s back on the horse! Takes a lot of courage to get up after you’ve fallen. I have this great quote. “Why do we fall down? To learn to get back up again.” Next is to SandlotFan. What is my favourite food? With all those good food choices I’d have to say my favourite food would have to be Bacon Penne Pasta - the homemade recipe by my Dad. It’s got bacon, tomato sauce, onions, pasta. It’s phenomenal! If I could have any talent what would it be? I’m not sure if you mean superhero talent or just a normal human’s so I’m going to address both. For my normal talent I think I’d have really good hearing so I could hear things far away so don’t go saying anything bad about me! Haha, to the superhero power I think I would have the force cause, you know, there’s just something about being able to lift things without moving that’s just really thrilling to me. And next is Noel. Just like you I’m really excited for New Moon to come out! I can’t wait to see it, it’s gonna be amazing! Same with Eclipse. Not just because I’m in it, but because the story is so engaging and it makes you stand on your toes so much and you want to keep on watching to see what’s gonna happen next. And our next question is to Madison. What was it like working with Cole Heppell? Cole Heppell’s just a really great guy and we had so much fun on the set of Sandlot because we could just toss around the ball, back and forth and play catch while they were setting up the takes. It took a really long time because they had to turn the camera around on somebody else. The whole cast was just so nice - I think being out in the sun really helped that. It brought out the best in everybody! And for the guy at your school talking to you a lot and trying to make you laugh, that means he likes you. Being an expert in this field (ha,ha) I would have to say he does and I must say I have tried this exact same move many times and it works! Our last question is to Katie. Do I own any of the movies I’m in? Yes I do. I own the Sandlot 3, I own Snow Buddies and Air Buddies, Tin Man, Beyond Sherwood Forest - not that I’m vain or anything! I just love watching movies. Not because I’m in them, but because their stories are phenomenal in each and every movie. They have a separate story that takes you on a different rollercoaster; if it makes you excited, it makes you sad - it makes you connect with the character. Thank you for watching this video blog!
